Following Qiyuan's innovative educational view of "Touch their hearts and follow their needs", in order to enrich the kindergarten activity curriculum and promote the development of children's personality and overall harmony, Kaiyuan Haha fish chain kindergarten beauty park in the kindergarten five areas on the basis of this course generated STEM science activities curriculum.

The kindergarten introduced STEM microscience activities in 2016 under the guidance of Dr. Zhang Wei of the Shanghai Academy of Sciences. After several years of development, STEM scientific activities have been relatively mature, in October 2021, STEM science activities courses in Kaiyuan Haha fish chain kindergarten beauty park officially launched!

The STEM Scientific Activity 1：Activities in orbit

In the orbit exploration activities, the children through the ball rolling speed and slow, judge the small ball trajectory and drop point, from one track board to two track boards, four track boards, 8 track boards, 16 track boards, teachers increasing the difficulty, children step by step exploration, try again and again, in the exploration to accumulate experience, in the construction to develop hands-on and control skills, in cooperation to develop communication and expression skills.

                                 The STEM Scientific Activity 2：Water cup experiment

Through many explorations, observations, records, and discussions, children found that the speed at which water was left in the cup was related to the size and number of holes in the cup, and the speed of the water flow was related to the height of the holes. Children are constantly exploring the secrets of water cups and enjoying the fun and magic of scientific activities!

The STEM Scientific Activity 3: Visit the museum

In order to further increase children's interest in scientific activities, so that children in direct perception, personal experience to obtain experience and knowledge, we also organize children to visit the clubhouse science and technology room in batches, feel the magic and charm of science and technology!

Scientific activities have always been one of children's favorite activities, it can not only exercise the ability of young children to explore, hands-on, thinking ability and so on, but also fully stimulate children's curiosity and desire to explore. I believe that with the deepening of STEM scientific activities, can promote children to explore the yearning of nature! We will create a diversified educational environment to support and guide young children, so that children's path of inquiry more exciting!
